How are you guys spending your weekend? I was watching television.I have spent a lot many days watching NDTV good times the entire day.After all it talks about Lifestyle and thats what we all like.My eyes really needed some rest and i turned it towards my plants.Thats when i realised that i have never shared here any home pics of mine.Interior styling for me starts and ends with plants. Here's showing my living room corner which brings so much of peace and Joy whenever i have a look at it.

I recently bought two chest of drawers for putting all my documents and cosmetics in one place. My recent trip to Eco-Inn Hotel in Bangalore gave me an opportunity to click the pictures of their SPA division.Eco-Inn Hotel which is 3kms further away from Electronic city is a pure eco hotel which is truly in one with the nature.The SPA Interiors were so simple, yet neat and elegant and the look of these pictures tempted me to have a Ayurveda or Balinese or a Thai SPA.

They have all kinds of SPA therapies which are famous globally.Eco-Inn hotel became really close to my heart after my stay there for a week.Full vegetarian Khana,SPA,greenery and wood antiques..all this makes me recommend this hotel for everyone who travels there.Iam sharing this post here because, after looking at the pictures i guess we can use this as a tip for easy interiors with in your home corners and nooks. One thing I love about my city is the Art Galleries it offers. Chennai has many number of Art galleries which is for sure a feast for people who have an eye for finer things in life.Pattupavadai, temples,Carnatic music,wonderful morning breakfast with coffee,the archagar/purohit in the temple in a veshti and so fluent in English and the spirit of keeping the precious painting traditions alive and still being one of the Topmost investment destination ..all this ..all this can happen in Chennai.

Tanjore, one of the districts in Tamilnadu is a place of religious and literary importance.Tanjore paintings come from this place. I had to go for shopping today and could not stop myself from visiting one of the galleries on the way.I had limited time,yet tried to click a few pics of the wonderful showcase of Tanjore and other paintings on the display.The price range starts from Rs.1800 and goes till 5000 Rs depending on the size and work of the painting.

The much awaited Indiblogger meet at Chennai happened in Chennai with the opening of the humurous video" Hitler, the German leader wanting to do anything to make the meet successful". Faces had cheers and laughs after watching the video followed by welcome address from the Sponsor Univercell highlighting the importance of Blogging community.

I found Renie and his team so cool and youthful .While I was thinking as to what kind of session we are going to have with the chart , they asked us to have it tied at the back so that other bloggers can come and write in your chart the URL of their blogs and say Hi to you.This was a cool or a crazy session with people trying to balance the chart hanging around your back and finding ways to write their URL and leave a message in your chart. I agree this session is important to make it more fun and to meet people personally to say Hi. When i was trying to click an all women snap of those who came for the meet, my batteries went conking off. oh no..what a loser...

Somebody came to rescue and took a snap covering most of the women.Who ever was that, please send in the snap to deeparaman.in@gmail.com. That would be a treasure. The discussion on traditional media vs blogging triggered up the first funny moment of confusion for non-tamil speakers for about 5 minutes,as they could not understand what the elderly gentleman was trying to say. But then ,his points were from a layman prespective and very good. There was a good 2 minutes talk by one the bloggers in the very front row, on employing younger crowd to take care of the advertising part by the market, so that they will use channels such as bloggers or wrodpress for advertising which is very effective.

As an extension of what he said ,i had this question : what all of us as a community can do to change the market mindset towards using blogspots as an effective medium of advertising"? This was my question in general to the community. But then i got answers like concentrating on traffic and content etc..But then my question was at a larger level on bringing in more awareness to the advertisers market by all of us together through forming groups or forums. It was not about making money or driving traffic.

We need to work here more as a group.Iam sure there would be more questions in future based on more visibility for blogging community from the local markets they operate.But then i had enjoyed some high tips by good bloggers like websnacker and a few more,who seemed to really know what it is that they are doing. The High tea and snacks were a instant click as people got to relish some great stuff ideal for a evening. It was indeed an enjoyable and fun event and very importantly it was truly successful,as 100 more people know my Blog now and they have started visiting.Congrats to Renie and his team.

Well, this posting comes from my personal space as i located these beautiful pots and planters all over Nairobi in Kenya. Nairobi thrives on more than 50% on agriculture and i was amazed to have a look at these wonderful pots which i honestly find very difficult to spot in most of Indian nurseries in metros. These pots have a teak wooden colour paint and made in huge sizes are being lined almost all over Nairobi. Its a delight to see the technique and training which goes into this pot making. The flowers and plants gets its additional grace from such dynamic and huge pots.The roots of the plant gets sufficient place to grow and thrive well.These pots can be a perfect corner piece for large or small living rooms as a indoor show piece with exotic plants in it.
